Staffer For Anti-Gay ‘Pro-Family’ US Congressman Arrested On 17 Counts Of Child Sex Crimes

Matthew Pennell has been arrested on 17 counts of sexual exploitation of a child. He is the constituent services representative for Republican U.S. Congressman Tim Huelskamp , and was active in local Kansas politics in 2011. Pennell is being held on $75,000 bond.

“Upon learning of his arrest, the Office immediately placed Mr. Pennell on Leave Without Pay until further notice,” Huelskamp chief of staff Mark Kelly said in a statement. “Because this is an ongoing investigation, we are unable to provide further comment at this time.”

The Family Research Council endorsed Huelskamp’s re-election last year.

Rep. Huelskamp was declared the most anti-gay member of Congress in 2012, and has been pushing a bill to amend the U.S. Constitution to ban same-sex marriage.

In 2013, an aide to Republican Senator Lamar Alexander of Tennessee was arrested on child pornography charges. Police found hundreds of videos in the home of Jesse Ryan Loskarn, who later died by suicide.

Bobby Brown Family Shooting Reality Show During Bobbi Kristina Crisis

As Bobby Brown grieves for Bobbi Kristina and her dire health condition, his siblings are gearing up for a tell-all reality show. No. Really. They’re already filming.

For many years, reality tv viewers have been “Keeping Up With The Kardashains” and now E! reportedly re-uped their contract for $100 million. Yes…there’s money to be made in reality tv, but does everyone need a show?

As outrageous (and inappropriate) as it might sound, the siblings of Bobby Brown (namely sisters Tina and Leolah) have allegedly started filming a reality show.

Sources told TMZ that Bobby won’t have any involvement in the series (thankfully) but his sisters, brother and their kids have already shot scenes about their life and of course, their confessionals include the Bobbi Kristina situation.

Suge Knight Fires His Lawyers; Tells Judge He’s Going Blind

*Marion “Suge” Knight spoke on his behalf during a brief court appearance in Los Angeles Monday…because he fired all of his lawyers.

The former “Death Row Records” CEO said he dismissed the law firm of David Kenner, who was working on his murder case. He also told the judge he was going blind and receiving inadequate medical treatment in custody.

Superior Court Judge James Brandlin transferred the case to a new judge. That judge, Ronald S. Coen, said Knight was taken to the hospital before the case was called. It’s the third time Knight has been taken to hospitals from court.

Knight has been accused of hitting two men with his truck, killing one, during an altercation in late January. Knight has pleaded not guilty to murder, attempted murder and hit-and-run.

Russell Tovey Is Thankful That He’s Not “Really Effeminate”

Yikes. Looking star Russell Tovey might have some backtracking to do this week after a new interview published by the Guardian.

In it, Russell details his experience growing up gay and reveals that he’s glad he’s not “really effeminate.”

“I feel like I could have been really effeminate, if I hadn’t gone to the school I went to. Where I felt like I had to toughen up,” he said. “If I’d have been able to relax, prance around, sing in the street, I might be a different person now. I thank my dad for that, for not allowing me to go down that path. Because it’s probably given me the unique quality that people think I have.”

How did the actor’s dad prevent him from going “down that path” to effeminacy? By refusing to allow him to go to theater school, where, you know, gay men learn to lisp and prance and let their wrists go limp. Russell says that because he’s not effeminate, he’s been able to have the acting career he’s enjoyed.

Can’t wait for the “clarification” on this one.
